Hello,

I'm Jade.

About Me

I'm currently a senior at the University of Washington, graduating in June 2021 with a Bachelor's in business administration with a concentration in entrepreneurship. I'm on the job search for a career that I can dedicate my passion to. While I hope to start my own business one day, I'm hoping to gain valuable business experience with a company with strong values.

ABOUT
Me

"Almost every successful person begins with two beliefs: the future can be better than the present, and I have the power to make it so."

JADE LEIGH EGAN

About my work:

When it comes to design and creation, I like to experiment with a variety of color palettes and themes. I closely evaluate my audience and create to compliment and intrigue. Overall, my work is very clean, smooth lines and carefully chosen elements rather than every single idea in one place. I strive to express myself while also creating a visually appealing, interactive work of art.

Volunteer work

Volunteer for youth art program:

I volunteered with a youth art program at Weyerhaeuser Elementary in my community. I was responsible for planning activities, teaching art techniques, as well as cleaning after. The program lasted the span of a few months, once a week after school. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with all the students, and learning to work with children.

Eatonville Art in bloom Volunteer:

I spent the day volunteering with the Art in Bloom organization. I aided with tours of gardens, check-in at various locations, helping vendors, and overall hosting of the event. I enjoyed spending time with all the artists in my community, surrounded by beautiful gardens. I learned much more about my community than I knew previously.

Teen Coach for Eatonville Jr cruisers cheer:

I was a teen coach for the youth cheer team in my community. I helped teach cheers, jumps, and other skills, as well as had a great time! I had a fantastic time teaching youth about the great sport of cheerleading.

Volunteering with the daffodil festival:

I have many opportunities of volunteering with Daffodil Festival. We read at libraries, attend benefit auctions, and help with events all throughout Pierce County. It is a great opportunity to serve my community, and I've been learning to be adaptable in all types of situations.
